How do I get my awning from ZONReady?

You can bring your awning to us during our opening hours and we will ensure that the awning can be picked up fresh and clean after a few weeks.

Why is it important to have your awning cleaned and impregnated?

1. Beautiful, fresh appearance : regularly cleaning and impregnating the tent ensures a nicer appearance and a refreshed appearance.

2. Improved water repellency : regular impregnation ensures improved water repellency of the tent. This means the water drains better and the tent dries faster.

3. Extending the lifespan : Cleaning removes dirt and stains that can affect the tent canvas, while impregnating applies a water and dirt-repellent layer to the canvas and protects it against moisture. This increases the fabric's resistance to wear and thus extends its lifespan.

4. Protection against weather influences : the coating we apply protects the awning against rain, wind, dirt and UV radiation.

5. Easier to store : If the awning is clean and impregnated, it is easier to store. This way your awning will remain in good condition for longer.

How do we clean and impregnate your awning?

Step 1. Cleaning

We rinse your awning in our car wash under reduced pressure to remove all surface dirt. We then place your awning in a soaking bath for 10 to 15 hours with a cleaning agent specially developed by ZONklare. The temperature in the bath is a maximum of 20°C, making the soaking process 100% shrink-free. We then spray your awning again under reduced pressure. With this action we remove all loosened dirt. We remove persistent contamination using a fogging process with special soap products. Your awning is now completely clean. We briefly immerse it in a bath with a special agent that neutralizes all previously used agents.

Step 2. Impregnation and drying

We are now hanging out your awning to dry. After it has dried properly, it goes to the coating location via a smart transport system. Here we impregnate your awning with a dirt- and water-repellent coating. This provides protection against, among other things: algae, green deposits, (rain) water, fungi, weather stains, UV radiation (for color fastness), spider droppings

The coating protects the cloth and extends its lifespan. Of course, your awning is 100% waterproof again after impregnation.

Step 3. Polishing the windows

Awnings often have large plastic windows, which we polish by hand. Our Window Spray contains protection for the plasticizers in the window film. Even the finest scratches disappear after polishing.

Step 4. Packaging and return

We will pack your awning and prepare it for shipping. After arriving at Bateau Bootservice you can pick up your clean awning again.
