The SeaStar CC189 is a motor control cable specifically designed for Mercury and Mariner outboard motors 50 hp and up with a Gen II control system (top-mount control). The cable features a clip coupling on the motor end and a specially shaped Gen II connector on the control end . This makes it ideal for use with original Mercury Gen II top-mount boxes. The CC189 is the right choice when a standard CC179 or universal cable is not suitable.
